| History
SADA was established in 1957 during
the first privatisation stage of the then state transportation and distribution
service for goods and foodstuffs, which had been set up as part of the reconstruction
process following the second world war.
The entrepreneurial spirit
behind the initial thrust, and inventiveness, a tendency towards rapid development
were a mark of SADA from the outset, and this Company was the first to used
coded parcels, (which made putting labels with addresses on each parcel unnecessary)
and it continued with its development, bringing all their innovation and logistic
efficiency to bear in their planning to deal with a market that was continually
and rapidly evolving.
The Group continues to develop
in the principal areas in which it works, making investments that are fully
financed by the Group, thanks to a stable shareholding held by a family that
is directly involved in the strategic control of the Group.
